Crosslake sits at the center of the Whitefish Chain, where fourteen connected lakes create some of the most sought-after — and most tightly regulated — shoreline in Minnesota. Lots here are frequently older platted parcels with legacy cabins close to the water, which makes remodels, additions and careful rebuilds far more common than blank-slate construction.

That shapes how we work in Crosslake. Projects usually begin with what can legally and practically happen on the existing footprint: whether a cabin can be added onto, whether a foundation is worth keeping, how a new roofline changes water views for the neighbor, and how to stage material down a narrow, tree-lined lot without destroying the yard.

Season length matters too. Crosslake swells with summer traffic, and nobody wants an active job site through the Fourth of July. We plan schedules around when owners actually use the property, pushing loud demolition and exterior work into shoulder seasons wherever possible.
