Full-Service Remodeling

Whole-cabin renovations, kitchens, baths, additions and water-damage rehabs — carried from demolition through final trim.

Remodeling an older lake place is detective work before it is carpentry. Cabins around here were often built in stages: a 1950s core, a 1970s addition, a 1990s deck, each with its own framing logic and floor heights. Opening a wall tells you what you are really working with.

We take on full-service remodels where one contractor is responsible for the whole sequence — demolition, structural corrections, subfloor and sheetrock, mechanical coordination, flooring, cabinetry, and the finish trim that decides whether the room feels custom or merely new.

That includes recovery work. Frozen and broken waterlines, ice-dam leaks and long-undetected moisture are a fact of life in seasonal Minnesota properties. Those projects begin with drying and demolition, then honest structural repair to framing, subfloor and support before any finish goes back in.

Older cabins also need modern sense: better insulation, right-sized bathrooms, a kitchen that works when twelve people are inside on a rainy afternoon, and layouts that finally turn toward the water. Good remodeling respects what the place has always been while quietly fixing what never worked.
